About us

​Our main goal for all dogs is building/modifying the human-canine bond to create happy, balanced dogs who are capable of living peacefully in today's society without depriving the dogs of their instinctive desires. No two dogs or humans are identical. Therefore, no two behavior modification/training plans will be identical. We offer Private lessons, Board and Train, where your dog stays with us 24/7 and we train them for you, DOT (Drop Off Training,) where you drop your dog off at our facility daily, we train, exercise, and socialize them, and then you pick them up later that day or evening and they go home with you,  and we do offer group classes, specialty classes and just fun classes from time to time where everyone follows the same lessons, and clients handle their own dogs in a group setting. This is a wonderful, fun way to learn how to, and to actually start foundation obedience work, or advanced competition work, with your dog, while surrounded with other dogs to allow your dog to learn how to safely interact with and obey around others, and also to learn from others. We do not label ourselves, or even entertain discussions on all of the various styles of training or types of training tools, etc. We do whatever each individual dog needs to help them learn and understand from THAT dogs viewpoint, using methods THAT dog understands, allowing ample time for THAT dog (and human,) to thoroughly learn. Then, and only then, once we are certain they know the difference between acceptable and non-acceptable behavior, do we attempt to correct (not punish) a behavior. Fair is fair. If a dog, or human, has not been taught, and does not thoroughly understand the difference of what is acceptable and what is not, we do not feel it is fair or helpful to correct at that point. They must be taught safe, appropriate behavior, first! Proper, permanent, life-long learning takes time, and diligence. If you are seeking a quick fix, or interested in hiring someone to force a dog to change an unwanted behavior, we are not the folks for you. We work towards permanent results and happy, non-fearful, balanced dogs. That is only accomplished by building an amazing human-canine bond, built on trust and respect.
